Our lasagne recipe come directly from the heart of Bologna – so you can be certain that it is perfetto! Layers of mince and pasta in a delicious béchamel sauce, are perfectly presented in our rectangular roaster which will also ensure that it keeps hot for up to 20 minutes after you remove from the oven!
Drizzle olive oil into a saucepan and mix in carrots, onion and celery
Allow to soften slightly and add in the beef and pork mince
As the meat starts to brown, add in the red wine, salt, tomato puree and chopped tomatoes
Once cooked through, remove from heat
Spoon into the rectangular roaster a thin layering of mince, followed by one layer on lasagne sheets
Cover this with more mince, pour over some béchamel sauce and sprinkle with parmesan cheese
Repeat again with another four layers of pasta, ending a final covering of mince, béchamel and a healthy dusting parmesan cheese
Place in to oven for 40-50mins at 355F
